Accessibility commitments, supported features, known limits and contact route for Egyptian Startups.
Commitment
Egyptian Startups aims to provide an accessible founder hub for keyboard users, screen-reader users, mobile users, Arabic and English readers, and people who prefer reduced motion or higher contrast.
Implemented features
The app includes skip links, semantic landmarks, labelled forms, keyboard-friendly tabs and dialogs, focus-visible styling, reduced-motion support, responsive layouts, accessible card actions, language direction switching, and static HTML pages for important routes.
Testing approach
Accessibility is checked with editor diagnostics, Playwright smoke tests, component review, no-horizontal-overflow checks, duplicate-id checks and focused tests for navigation, modals, tabs, forms and mobile menus. Manual review remains important because automated tools cannot judge all content and context.
Known limitations
Some ecosystem visualisations use canvas charts, so chart summaries and data tables are provided in the app for users who cannot inspect the canvas directly. Some directory marks are generated rather than official logos.
